Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and maintain the operational excellence of the company's FX trading platform, ensuring optimal stability and performance
- Provide relentless support within a 24x7 distributed enterprise framework, adhering to stringent standards and SLAs
- Swiftly escalate operational issues following established procedures, guaranteeing effective resolution and communication
- Engage in direct collaboration with engineering teams to strategize and implement necessary actions
- Execute comprehensive system troubleshooting, from identifying to resolving encountered issues promptly
- Automate routine operational tasks, enhancing efficiency and reliability across processes
- Guide problem resolution tracks, from initial determination through to workaround deployment, root cause analysis, and major incident management
- Conduct installations and updates of system software across both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring system integrity
- Vigilantly monitor software and hardware functionalities to preempt potential issues
Job Requirement
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, notably in Linux systems administration, networking, and database technologies
- Robust understanding of distributed computing principles along with a sound grasp of networking and UNIX system architecture
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Shell, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker is preferred
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and an understanding of Configuration Management and Deployment tools (e.g., Salt, Puppet) are valuable
- Solid knowledge in change, release management, and SSL certificate management
- Comprehensive networking knowledge, including routing, subnets, TCP/IP, VLANs, multicast, and UDP
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of professional engagement with a global customer and engineer base
- A passion for working in a high-velocity environment and juggling multiple priorities
- An inherent curiosity with a keen interest in continuous learning and improvement
- Demonstrated reliability, coupled with a strong work ethic and customer service orientation
- Excellent English communication skills, both conversational and written
