Job Description
The role will sit in the Applied Engineering team within the Digital Bank and the person will play a key role creating, developing and implementing new ideas into a tech stack for our customers to use. The Applied Engineering team is the coders Cloud Nine – this is where it all happens. Conversational AI / MarTech Solutions / Integrations / APIs etc. We expect you to bring energy and creativity to the table to bring these solutions to life. The role itself is wide ranging and challenging as you will be working with other senior developers and architects to build market-leading solutions.
The Role Responsibility:
- Building, designing and implementing new systems that are optimized for performance, scalability and availability in the areas of Conversational AI / MarTech / APIs and Integration.
- Writing high-quality, clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
- Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability, performance and reliability of the product.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high quality work in rapid product development.
- Troubleshooting and fixing customer and system issues.
Job Requirement
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's or a higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in the Engineering space or in a hands-on coding role
- Excellent programming skills using Node.JS
- Knowledge integrating web services and applications using REST APIs & JSON.
- Experience in API design, development and deployment
- Experience in CICD, Git, unit-testing and source code management
- Knowledge of cloud development and deployment principles
- Frontend development knowledge HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, react.js/angular.
- Conceptual understanding of NLU, NLP and machine learning algorithms
- Experience solving customer relation interaction issues or conceptual understanding of delivering user interfaces
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess new and unfamiliar issues and work through potential solutions, issues, and risks
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies on the go.
- Excellent drive, energy and enthusiasm to build something new and an extremely curious mindset is needed to be successful in this very role.
