Knowledge Management Associate
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented KM to join our dynamic team at Regology India Pvt Ltd. The KM will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and improvement of user guides for our range of products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in technical writing, product documentation, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of user guides for our products, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to our brand voice and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, and customer support to gather necessary information for creating comprehensive user guides.
- Plan, organise, and prioritise the creation of user guides for new product releases and updates, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Edit, review, and proofread user guides to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a user-friendly tone.
- Conduct user testing to gather feedback on the effectiveness of user guides and implement improvements based on the feedback received.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in technical writing and user documentation to continuously enhance the quality and usability of our user guides.
- Implement and maintain a version control system for user guides to ensure proper tracking of revisions and updates.
- Provide training and guidance to junior members of the documentation team as needed.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in technical writing, user documentation, or similar roles, preferably in a product-based company.
- Strong proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, or similar software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a diverse audience.
- Familiarity with project management principles to effectively manage timelines and deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with software products and understanding of technical concepts is a plus.
- Portfolio of previous user guides or documentation projects is highly desirable.
