Business Analyst - Finance
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- This role will support the finance management team in various finance initiatives (regulatory, transformation, optimization) and support the system implementations
- He/she will work closely with Business Units, IT teams, internal finance stakeholders and external vendors to support business-led IT initiatives and projects
- He/she will work closely with IT team and internal finance stakeholders in supporting organization IT initiatives like systems upgrade for tech refresh (TRM), etc.
- Providing business analysis support to finance stakeholders with business and technical inputs and recommendations during system implementation
- Providing project management support to finance stakeholders to ensure project status, timeline, resource requirements are communicated and updated
- He/she will coordinate and work with finance stakeholders in resource planning, project scheduling, and coordinate for requirement gathering, UAT activities and project tracking
- He/she will also provide 1st level IT application support and audit support on Finance owned applications (SAP, Hyperion-Essbase)
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in IT / Accountancy / Business
- At least 2 years experiences in IT Project Management and/or Business analysis
- Preferably with insurance, accounting, financial reporting and/or finance operations domain knowledge
- Knowledge and implementation experience in SDLC, agile implementation
- Able to work independently as well as in team
- Possess strong analytical and numerical skills
- Possess problem solving skills
- Good in communication and writing skills, able to present to various types of audience
