Delivery Manager, Corporate Business, IT

You will be part of the IT Corporate Business and Digital Office team in NTUC Income. In this role, you will be responsible to spearhead the design, development and delivery of IT initiatives that transform Income’s Corporate Business solutions and enable end-to-end digital Corporate Business customer journey services.

You are accountable to provide technology leadership, direction across the full lifecycle of applications projects from planning through implementation, and end-to-end delivery of program and projects to meet business requirement and customer needs. You will also be expected to stay in touch with latest technology trends, as well as having strong opinions about how systems should be engineered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the solution and development teams under your charge to design and develop new software solutions
• Partner with solution and enterprise architects to deliver technical innovations in support of emerging business needs and translate from concepts to working solutions
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that are capable to digitally transform Corporate Business solution and enhance customer experience.
• Manage release planning and rollout schedule, risk/issue identification and mitigation, scope control, development and performance measurement, coordination and facilitation of testing phases, tracking/reporting of project progress and documentation.
• Perform system analysis, design, and code reviews to ensure solutions are maintainable, secure and release with good quality
• Ensure application designs adhered to architectural roadmap, including implementation of DevSecOps, automated testing, native mobile app, API, and micro services in Income’s hybrid cloud environment
• Ensure application development adhered to Income’s software development life cycle processes (Waterfall and Agile) and standards
• Identify challenges and risks, implement improvement programs, and continuously improving quality of delivery
• Develop metrics to track development competencies by skills se and applications. Work with team to constantly make improvements and achieve higher competencies
• Lead the team in resolving technical debts and defects to ensure that the solution remains reliable and robust
• Manage development and roll-out of process supporting technology in alignment with business process improvement initiatives. Includes vendor selection and solution discussion, requirements gathering and implementation design
• Stakeholders and vendor management, including communication and risk management, timelines, expectation, conflicts, scope change, issues, escalations, and support processes.
