About this Role:
If you’re an experienced developer that has a deep understanding of technology, then this is the job for you. You will be doing day-to-day management of the team and develop high quality software that is aligned with the company’s vision and strategy. This is a great opportunity for you to work a complete role in a challenging environment.
Roles Responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified engineering lead to join our technology team. You will be involved through all phases of the software developmental lifecycle. Ultimately, we expect you to be a seasoned developer who is able to lead a team to greater heights.
You will be expected to:
- Implement and maintain the operating systems and processes
- Communicate and mentor the team with best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management
- Provide evaluation and feedback on technical architecture and design of applications
- Do code review for junior and mid-level engineers
What we look for:
- min of 7+ years of work experience
- Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask)
- Familiarity with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Good working knowledge with RESTful API and documentation
- Understanding of databases and SQL and/or schema design
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and the Angular framework is a plus
- Attention to details such as product design and business goals
- Able to manage and nurture developers
- Good problem-solving capabilities
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
