These Terms of Service belong to HackerTrail registered under the name of TechKnowledgey Pte Ltd. (“HackerTrail”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “Owner”), a Company registered in Singapore with its business address at 100 Peck Seah St #08-14 (S)079333.
This Agreement governs your acquisition and use of our services. If you register for a free trial of our services, this agreement will also govern that free trial. By using HackerTrail’s products and cloud-based software enabled developer recruitment platform services (“HackerTrail services”), you agree to the following terms and conditions, and any privacy policies and guidelines that may be presented to you (collectively these “Terms of Service”) from time to time.
Acceptance of the HackerTrail Terms of Service
Your access to the HackerTrail services is subject to these Terms of Service. HackerTrail reserves the right to update and change these Terms of Service from time to time without notice or acceptance by you although if we decide to materially change all or part of HackerTrail Terms of Service we will, where reasonably possible, try to give you advance reasonable notice at your email address on record.
By making use of the HackerTrail service, you signify your acceptance of these Terms of Service in effect at the term of your use. If you are an individual acting as a representative of a Company or other legal entity which wishes to use the HackerTrail service, then you represent and agree that you have the authority to accept these Terms of Service on behalf of such Company or other legal entity and that all provisions of these Terms of Service will be binding on that Company or legal entity as if it were you.
For the purposes of these Terms of Services, the terms shall have these meanings assigned to them.
“Candidate” means an individual a User invites to access the HackerTrail service.
“User” or “Recruiter” means those individuals having registered accounts with a user identification name and password.
“HackerTrail services” means the user interface software used to recruit and screen software developers that is hosted by HackerTrail’s hosting service provider and made available to you pursuant to these Terms of Service.
Code of Conduct
Blocked Content: HackerTrail has the right, but not the obligation, to remove or block Content from the HackerTrail service that it determines in its reasonable discretion to be in violation of these Terms of Service, to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, that violates any party’s intellectual property or that is detrimental to the quality or intended spirit of the HackerTrail service.
Disagreements: You alone are responsible for your interaction with other Users and Candidates via the HackerTrail service. If you have a dispute with one or more Users or Candidates or if you disagree with the results of a Report, your sole remedy is to cease using the HackerTrail service. You irrevocably and forever release HackerTrail (and HackerTrail’s officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, contractors, joint ventures and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
Copyright Infringers: HackerTrail does not permit copyright infringing activities through the HackerTrail service and reserves the right to terminate access to the HackerTrail service and remove all content submitted by any persons who are found to be repeat infringers. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity that may be grounds for termination of your use of the HackerTrail service may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Third Party Websites and Services
HackerTrail services may include links to third party web sites or services (“Linked Sites”) solely as a convenience to Users and Candidates. HackerTrail does not endorse any such Linked Sites or the information, material, products, or services contained on other Linked Sites or accessible through other Linked Sites. Furthermore, HackerTrail makes no express or implied warranties regarding the information, material, products, or services that are contained on or accessible through Linked Sites. Access and use of Linked Sites, including the information, material, products, and services on Linked Sites or available through Linked Sites, is solely at your own risk.
HackerTrail Application contains some Personal Data from its Users.
Types of Data Collected
Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookies, Usage Data, Geographic Position, Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Username, Password and Company Name.
If you browse through our site without providing us with any personal information, we will gather and store some information about your visit, such as IP address, type of browser and operating system used, date and time you access our site, pages you visit, and if you linked to our website from another website, the address of that website. This information will not identify you personally and will not be linked back to you. There will be times, such as when you submit an auto lead request to a dealer or fill out our contact form when we will need to obtain personally identifiable information from you or about you. Such personally identifiable information may include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and identification number.
The Personal Data collected may regard both the User and third parties whose data the User provides. The User assumes responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through the Application and declares that (s)he has the right to communicate or broadcast them, thus relieving HackerTrail of all responsibility towards third parties. The Owner shall comply with its specific obligation under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and similar applicable regulations in respect of personal data within the context of the performance of the Services.

The owner processes the Data of the Interested Parties and Users in a lawful and proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

The Data are processed and stored in the servers that are applicable to the region in which the Owner operates.
We safeguard your privacy using known security standards and procedures ad comply with applicable privacy laws. Our websites combine industry-approved physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to ensure that your information is well protected through its lifecycle in our infrastructure. Sensitive data is encrypted when it is stored in our infrastructure. Sensitive data is decrypted, processed and immediately re-encrypted or discarded when no longer necessary, We host web services in audited data centres, with restricted access to the data processing servers
The use of collected Data
The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Analytics, registration and authentication, Geolocation, managing contacts and sending messages, interaction with external social networks and platforms, infrastructure monitoring and hosting and backend infrastructure.

You are entitled to know whether we hold information about you and, if we do, the type of information, the purposes for which we hold it, the possible recipients or types of recipients, and to have access to that information and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. Upon written request and within a reasonable time frame we will correct, delete and/or block personal information from further processing. We will retain your information as needed to provide you services and will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and/or enforce our agreements.
