Product Management Associate (Tester)
Job Description
The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) plays a crucial role towards Income’s vision of insurance made different by leading innovative digital initiatives and building new business models to serve digital-first consumers and position Income for the future. Some examples include the first reinsurance in Singapore which protects individuals against fare surge on ride-hailing platforms and the first micro-insurance in Southeast Asia which offers flexible pay-per-trip micro premium and accumulative coverage for Grab drivers.
This role provides a unique opportunity for a high-performing individual to drive real change and transform the insurance industry. The candidate will work with a team of Product managers to test, refine and release new iterations of our products to scale in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the product team and cross-functional teams to refine and execute the product strategy
- Create test cases from user stories or test scenarios, and execute cases
- Support Product Managers to test product prototypes and identify deficiencies, bugs or user experience issues
- Maintain digital products that has been launched, and work on projects to enhance features based on user feedback
- Strong data sensitivity and able to monitor the product performance data, analyse it and keep consistent optimisation on the products to get friendly and better user experience
- Quick learner to pick up the domain knowledge and grow fast in product skills
- Champion a hypothesis-driven test-and-learn mindset
Job Requirement
Qualifications
- Degree in Computing or IT related fields
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshooting of digital products will be an advantage
- Experience in product management and launching digital products or familiarity in the fintech or insurtech industry is a plus
- Curious mind and ability to adapt to changes in a fast-moving environment; strong willingness to go the extra mile and step out of your comfort zone in understanding regional culture and customer behaviours
- Good business and data acumen. Able to translate complicated business requirements into product features, help business and external customers to visualise data
- Ability to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication
