Job Requirement

• Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure   
• Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems   
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies   
• Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services   
• Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions   
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company   
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary   
• Recommend process and architecture improvements   
• Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
• Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a company’s services and products

Our Ideal Candidate:

• You would have at least 5 years of working experience on AWS Engineering; to be specific, any experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing AWS solutions is ideal.
• Knowledge of AWS resources such as EC2, RDS, ALB, ElasticCache, Auto-scaling Group, S3, VPC, EKS, ECS, Cloudfront, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda would be required
• Experience with Terraform and TFE
• Ideally experience, knowledge or interest in SRE
• You would also have an educational background in Computer Science or related fields to have strong foundational knowledge of computer science fundamentals 
• Any experience in any DevOps Tools as well – Nginx, Git, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes etc would be advantageous 
• Overall, you will have strong understanding of IT infrastructure and the best practices across its different domains

Good to have (Optional):

• Interest in chaos engineering, continuous improvement and system optimisation
• Knowledge of other cloud provider like GCP or Azure
• Great communication skills
